Light Games
17th - 18th February 2023
Come and play giant light up games in Matson. Enjoy 4 old school games turned into interactive family fun. ​
Keep warm by the firepits or toast a marshmallow, enjoy a selection of hot food and drinks. This was a free event and was in partnership with Strike A Light and Gloucester City Council as part of Bright Nights.​​​​

Elvis In Blue Hawaii
29th September 2023
Award-winning Elvis impersonator Joe Reeve (Best Sideburns: GlosVegas 2014) stars in his version of the classic Elvis film ‘Blue Hawaii’. His long-time tour manager, Josephine Cunningham, is there to keep the show on the road… next stop: Vegas!
A musical comedy by Spitz & Co which will leave you all shook up. So, dig out your best Hawaiian shirt and escape to Paradise!

Santa's Grotto 23

Our third Santa's grotto. We employed a local artist to transform a local community space into a magical Santa's grotto.

Wonder Gigs

Coney Community Pub Quiz
20th October 2023
We ran an 8 month project with London based company Coney. They spent time in community groups learning what they could about Matson, to then run a quiz at the local pub for community to get involved in.

Afternoon Tea
12th December 2023
In partnership with The Redwell Centre and The Venture White City, we hosted a Christmas afternoon tea for 80 elderly and isolated residents in the Matson, Robinswood and White City ward. We had performances from our Robinswood Dance group and the church choir.

Burnt Out In Biscuit Land
12th & 13th May 2023
Our second show as part of The Collaborative Touring Network. Presented by Touretteshero , The Old Courts and the Collaborative Touring Network, In association with GL4.
A show by disabled people about our right to exist.
While the world outside is in chaos, three neurodiverse inhabitants of an apocalyptic bunker grapple with questions of isolation, resistance, and joy.
The follow up to their smash-hit productions ‘Backstage in Biscuit Land’ and ‘Not I’ by Samuel Beckett, Touretteshero’s latest show blends live performance and film, featuring writer, artist, and activist Jess Thom.

Breaking The Ice
30th November - 1st December 2023
From Filkskit Theatre, an interactive arctic adventure for children aged 2-6 years. Join us on a journey into the snow where music, shadows and projection will transport you to a place where polar bears and huskies really can be friends. Then watch as your child joins in with the adventure and takes their place on Team Polar Bear or Team Husky!

Christmas Tree Festival
14th - 17th December 2023
This was the second year of the Christmas Tree Festival. In 2023 we had a programme of activities centred around the tree's encouraging the community to come and see them.
